Classroom Manager Use Cases

Use Case #1: Companion to the Check-In Kiosk
In this scenario, Classroom Manager shows photos, allergies and other vital information of the Participants checked in by the Check-In Kiosk. Teachers may not be required to mark Participants present; rather, they simply use the tool as a head's up display and for providing better care. Your church may require explicit check-out for babies and other very young children for additional accountability.

Use Case #2: Stand-alone Attendance & Care System
For some smaller Events, the Classroom Manager might be used as a standalone tool to mark Participants present, record care notes and indicate when they were picked up. This would be appropriate in more childcare-oriented settings with lower attendance volume. This approach is *not* recommended for worship services. If name tag printing is needed, use the Check-In Kiosk.

Use Case #3: Volunteer Attendance System
If your volunteers don't need labels, a leader could use the Classroom Manager to post attendance by volunteers at Events including worship services. Because photos are shown, the leader would have an easier time associating new volunteers with their record.

Use Case #4: Sunday School Attendance
While Classroom Manager has specific features related to care of children, it can be used to post attendance for individuals in any age groups including adult Sunday school groups.

Use Case #5: Oversight & Support for multiple groups
In this scenario, multiple Groups are selected and a User can centrally coordinate all Groups performing functions like:

  1. Calling parents (if applicable).
  2. Reviewing allergies and special notes.
  3. Marking Participants present.
  4. Checking out Participants.
