Pre-Check Check-In

 

 

Pre-Check is a great tool that is all about making check-in faster (and touchless!). But Pre-Check is not about making a reservation or holding a spot. Want a tool for making reservations? Check out Blackpulp's Reservations App!

Both the PocketPlatform and Online Giving apps provide an avenue for users to check in on their mobile device. Points North also offers mobile check-in. After selecting Pre-Check, the user's Household and check-in options will be displayed. Users may select the events and/or groups Household members are checking into. The app will create an Event Participant record with the participant status of "02-Registered." If checked into a group, the Group Participant field on the Event Participant record (not the Group field) is filled in. And the app will also generate and display a QR code.

When the Pre-Check QR code is scanned, Check-In Suite will search for 02-Registered Event Participants registered for check-in events available at that kiosk. If found, Check-In Suite will bypass kiosk search options, change the Event Participant status to "03-Attended," and print name tags (if they have been configured to print for the selected Events and/or Groups).

If no 02-Registered Event Participants are found, Check-In Suite will display the Household search screen. Depending on the kiosk configuration, the user may be able to check in using the kiosk.

Event Set-Up Requirements

  • An Event occurring at that Campus
  • Allow Check-In field set to "True"
  • The Participant is either in a group associated with the Event or the Search Results field set to "Allow Guests (Show Everyone)"
