Classroom Manager FAQ

As of August 31, 2019, we will officially no longer support either Check-In 2 or (standalone) Classroom Manager. They have both been replaced by Check In Suite! If you haven't made the transition yet, we have created a sample transition plan here to help. If you have any questions, need any help making the transition, or feel something is preventing you from making the transition, please don't hesitate to contact Support.

Q1: Can Classroom Manager be run on an iPad or tablet?
Yes! Classroom Manager works from any major browser and is designed to be at your finger tips.

Q2: I attached Rooms to my event in the Platform, but I'm not seeing the Rooms displayed in Classroom Manager.  What do I need to do?
Classroom Manger is centered around Groups, so the Rooms must be associated with the Group record.

Q3: Why can't I log into Classroom Manager?
Ensure that you have the Classroom Manager Security Role. If no one can log into Classroom manager, ensure that the configuration setting Classroom - Authorized ID is set to the correct role ID.

Q4: Where is Classroom Manager data stored?
All Classroom Manager (and Check-In) data is stored in the Platform. Attendance reports can be pulled at any time.

Q5: Can I mark a person present who was previously checked out?
Yes. From the Checked-Out tab, open the participant and click Mark Present. This moves the the participant to the Present tab. This also removes the Time Out value and update the Time In value on the Event Participant record.
