To delete a Batch in MinistryPlatform:
It is possible for a user with sufficient rights to delete a Batch in MinistryPlatform in Stewardship > Batches. However, this is not the recommended approach, as it leaves the Donations orphaned (Ready for a batch) on the Donations page and requires further work. That said, it is conceivable that your goal is to leave the Donations in the system in order to re-Batch them; this would be most likely if they were originally online donations.
If your Batch is already part of a Deposit, deleting it would be highly unusual. However, in this rare event, you may need to edit or delete that Deposit record to complete the process.
