Review the applicable "fix views" (outlined in here) to correct potential data issues.
Create your own custom views to find additional potential data issues like people set up to receive online statements who don't have an email address.
Use Mass Assign (carefully and when appropriate) to quickly clean up things like Donor's Statement Type or Statement Method.
Leverage the Trim Selection Tool to trim selections for missing addresses, emails, etc.
Leverage the Transfer Selection Tool to remove one selection of Donors from another like those who gave less than $100 from Donor's set to receive paper statements.
Paperless Statements & Electronic Communication Tips
Accounting Company: Your Church's Accounting Company.
Statement Year: The year you're printing statements for.
Gave at Least: The minimum amount you want to generate printed statements for.
Sort Order: Select Postal to print statements in Postal Cord order for easy-peasy bulk mailing.
Pages: Select print "1 Page Only" statements first. Then, change to "2 Pages" and print those statements (you could even print the 2 page statements front and back to save paper). Proceed with 3 pages, 4 pages, etc. Printing these separately makes the next steps of folding, stuffing, sealing and labeling for bulk mail much easier!
Group/Segment: Statements are broken into groups of up to 1,000 per year and Accounting Company to create smaller batches of statements to run at one time. For example, if there are 5,420 statements this year for your Accounting Company, you will be able to select one of six segments to generate and print.
Show: Select the options you'd like to show on the statement.
