Settings - Android MPMobile

Upon opening Settings in MP Mobile, you will see the Profile Settings for the User logged into MP Mobile.

These settings are directly related to the Prayer Requests page, thus to see this page the user must have a security role allowing Read Permissions to the Feedback Entries page. 

Profile

The Contact details related to the logged in User are shown including:

  • Photo
  • Name
  • Contact Status
  • Date of Birth / Age
  • Participant Type
  • Household Position
  • Phone Number(s)
  • Email

SMS Template

Users can set a template for Quick Reply text messages to Prayer Requests. To setup or edit a template for text messages sent from this User via the Prayer Requests page of the MP Mobile app:

  1. Tap SMS Template
  2. Enter the desired details (e.g. Prayed for you this morning!)
  3. Tap the Save icon
  4. Click OK

Note: The current limit is 140 symbols. When symbol count goes over the limit it becomes red and shows the amount of extra symbols.

Email Template

Users can set a template for Quick Reply email messages to Prayer Requests. To setup or edit a template for email messages sent from this User via the Prayer Requests page of the MP Mobile app:

  1. Tap Email Template
  2. Enter the desired details (e.g. Praying for you and your family.)
  3. Tap the Save icon
  4. Click OK

Note: Both SMS and Email Templates are cached locally on the device where they are configured. If a user plans to access MP Mobile from multiple devices (e.g. phone and tablet), these Templates will need to be configured twice - once for each device.
