Reports, Routines, & Notifications - April 2012

 

Database Changes & Updates

  1. The Statement Settings page has been renamed is now called “Accounting Companies”.
    • “My Statement Through” is now “Statement Cutoff Date”. For churches who allow donors to get their statement online through our portal, this is the date through which the statement is available.
    • Every Congregation is now assigned to an “Accounting Company”. For churches with only one company, this will always be the same value for all congregations.
  2. A “Receipted” bit field has been added to the Donations Page. This value will be applied only by organizations who send a receipt to the donor for each and every donation.
  3. All views starting with the word “Fix” or “Review” have been assigned to the Data Quality Team (a User Group) so regular users will not see them.
  4. A “Background Check Required” bit field has been added to the Group Roles page for churches that wish to have a view on Group Participants that shows anyone who should have a background check but does not. 
  5. The routine that populates the Activity Log has been updated and improved with minor changes.

Reports Updated

  • Create Deposits From Selected Batches – it is now possible to create one deposit per batch.
  • Compare Related Contacts – It is not possible to change a relationship between two related contacts then return to the report to continue the review process.
  • Selected Donor Alerts (Congregations Page) – Added ability to determine whether to include inactive households. This is a great analysis report comparing giving in two periods! 
  • Donor Stmt  – Formatting Changes
  • Donor Stmt: By Date – Support for multiple companies added, can print 1 page, 2 page, and 3+ page statements separately.
  • Donor Stmt: By Date Selected – Support for multiple companies added.
  • Donor Stmt: Selected – Formatting Changes
  • Find Donors – Added an option to the “Donors to List” dropdown that will return only donors who made their “First HH Donation to ANY PROGRAM”  during the reporting period.
  • Groups Seasonal Dashboard – Formatting Changes
  • Group Participant Attendance – Now allows attendance to be posted to events in the past 90 days.
  • Major Donors – Formatting Changes
  • Selected Contact Facts – The contact record’s default image file (the contact’s photo) will appear.
  • Selected Group Attendance By Individual – Formatting Changes
  • Selected Payment Listing – Formatting Changes
  • Find Donors Export – Based upon the “Find Donors” report, this version allows exporting contact information about the donors identified with the report parameters.
  • Participant Analysis – Summarizes participant records based on various criteria like Age, Gender, and more. Can save selections back to MinistryPlatform for additional reporting and communication.  Published to the Participants page.
  • Selected Batch Simple Item List – Lists items in a batch. Published to the Batches page. Useful in cases when a listing is needed for the bank prior to depositing the items.
  • Selected Batch Summary – Summarizes batch contents by program without listing detail. Published to the Batches page.
  • Selected Mail Merge: Family Detail – An exhaustive extract of basic data for a household and up to 10 members on a single row. This report has been published to many pages where contact records can be selected.
  • Selected Group Directory: Photos – Prints a group directory with photos for the selected groups.  Published to the Groups page.
  • Donor Stmt: 2 Column – Has one main column for tithes and a column for “other” distributions.  Published to the Donors page.
  • Donor Stmt: 2 Column Selected – The selected record version of “Donor Stmt: 2 Column”. Published to the Donors page.
  • Selected Program Groups Multi-week Roster – A roster report on the Program Groups page that allows multiple columns to facilitate using the same printout for multiple weeks.

New Reports

  • Find Donors Export – Based upon the “Find Donors” report, this version allows exporting contact information about the donors identified with the report parameters.
