Registering into a Series is handled by the Data Quality Routine which runs nightly.

Anyone who is registered for a future Event in a series (with Register into Series = True) will automatically be added to all future Events in the series. 

• This will only apply for Participants with a status of Registered (2) in an earlier Event. Future means all Events in the series with a future Start Date after the one in which they are Registered.
• A link on your website must be updated to a future event in order for new event registrants to be added to future events, or you can copy event registrants to a future event in the series, and the routine will copy them forward.
• Anyone who is cancelled in one Event in the series will automatically be cancelled in future events in the series.
• Participant records associated with the Default Contact will not be added to future events in a series. The routine will ignore such records until the real participant is assigned.
• If someone registers for two Events or more in a day (where one Event is not a Series), it will still add the one in the series into future events.
