Create Batches

 

 

The Create Batch tool replaces the Create Batch From Selected Donations report. While both the tool and report are available for a while, we recommend using the Create Batch tool exclusively.

To create a Batch from manually entered or online giving Donations: 

  1. Go to Stewardship > Donations and select some or all Donation records. Confirm that your selection only contains Donations that you wish to batch.
  2. Click Reports > Create Batch From Selected Donations
  3. Set the report parameters, and click View Report.
  4. Click Create This Batch & Deposit. This step creates and finalizes the Batch, as well as creates a Deposit. 
  5. Repeat Steps 1-4 as needed for additional Batches. 
  6. Go to Stewardship > Deposits and export the Deposit(s) to your accounting system.
