Reports, Routines, & Notifications - March 2017

Reports 

Fixed Selected Group Attendee Search Report
We have fixed the Selected Group Attendee Search report so that a selection created by the report honors the Participant Status chosen when running the report.

Fixed Selected Contact Attribute Report
We have fixed the Selected Contact Attribute Report to removed secured Contact Attributes.

Fixed Selected Form Responses Report
We have fixed the Selected Form Responses when using the "Export by Group" link at the bottom of the report several times in a row as it would occasionally display no records.

Enhanced Selected Form Responses Report

  • We have enhanced the Selected Form Response report to allow an option to Hide Cancelled Registrants (if Form is related to an Event). The default will be to show all Form Responses. Please contact Support if you need any defaults to the report changed specifically for your church. 
  • We have enhanced the Selected Form Responses report to allow the option to include Product and Payment information.
  • We have enhanced the Selected Form Response report on multiple pages to have the option to Add Parents from the Household. Please contact Support if you need any defaults to the report changed specifically for your church.
  • We have optimized the query for the Form Response Report to allow it to run faster for larger databases.

(Note: For those not on SQL 2012 or higher, this enhancement does not apply. You do have this report currently available on your system, but not with these enhanced features. If in the future you choose to upgrade your SQL server version, please contact Support and we can add any report enhancements not previously able to be deployed.)

Enhanced Room Availability Research Report
We have enhanced the Room Availability report to allow an option for a range of dates, times, or day of the week and/or specific room selections. We have also added a grid for a quick visual aid.

Enhanced Selected Group Rollscan Roster Report
We have enhanced the Selected Group Rollscan Roster report that is listed on the Groups page to include the option to show or hide the Contact's personal information.

Enhanced Birthday List Report

  • We have enhanced the Birthday List report to allow an option to search by Month/Day (will celebrate birthday within these months/days with birth year ignored) or by Month/Day/Year (born between these dates).
  • We have enhanced the Birthday List Report to include a new Date Comparison parameter to control sorting of results. Month/Day sorts by month, day, year, name. Month/Day/Year sorts by year, month, day, name.

Enhanced Selected Photo Report
We have enhanced the Selected Photo Report to allow options for Name Format and Hiding Detail.

Enhanced Find Donor Household Report
We have enhanced the Find Donor Households and Find Donor Households Selected reports on the Donors page to include:

  • An option to include Donors with no Households.
  • An option to include the address, phone numbers for head 1 & 2, and Email for head 1 & 2 in one single record per household.
  • An option to include Soft Credit Donations.

(Note: For those not on SQL 2012 or higher, this enhancement does not apply. You do have this report currently available on your system, but not with these enhanced features. If in the future you choose to upgrade your SQL server version, please contact Support and we can add any report enhancements not previously able to be deployed.)

Enhanced Donor Statement Reports
We have enhanced the Donor Statement Reports to include Suffix when printing from the Platform from the Donors page.

Enhanced Selected Program Group Multi-Week Roster Report
We have enhanced the Selected Program Group Multi-Week Roster report to include a row to record totals for each week.

Optimized Selected Household Donations Report
We have optimized the Selected Household Donations report that is listed on multiple pages to allow it to run faster for larger databases.

*New* Donor Stmts: 1 Column with Letter
We have added a new report on the Donors page called Donor Stmts: 1 Column with Letter.

System Setup Changes    

Enhanced Form Response IP Address Field
We have increased the field size for the IP Address field on the Form Responses table from nvarchar(25) to nvarchar(45) to help eliminate errors in some cases when a form is filled out using the Portal.

Nightly Routine Changes

Fixed Group Attendance Notification
We have fixed the Group Attendance Notification to include multiple Group meetings for the same day/same time.

Fixed Event Reminder Notification
We have fixed the Event Reminder Notification to only send out reminders for Events that are current or in the future but not the past.

Fixed Credit Donor Routine
We have fixed the Credit Donor Routine so that the Always Soft Credit and Always Pledge actions now run as part of the larger Data Quality routine.

Enhanced Group Attendance Notification

  • We have enhanced the nightly Group Attendance Notification to consider the Meeting Frequency. For example, if the Group does not meet weekly on non-meeting weeks, an Event is not created and the notification is not sent.
  • We have enhanced the nightly Group Attendance Notification to consider Group End Dates. For example, if the Group has been end dated, an Event is not created and the notification is not sent.

Enhanced Configuration Settings Page Security
We have decreased Security Roles for the Configuration Settings page so that system settings are not accidentally deleted or mass updated by mistake. Contact Support if you have questions.

*New* Form Response Process
We have added a new default Process that will notify the Primary Contact every time a Form Response is submitted on Custom Forms where the Notify field is set to True. The process must be set to Active = "True" for this to begin to function on a particular system.

*New* Care Case Notification
We have added a new Care Case Notification that by a nightly routine will notify Users with the specific Security Roles of MobileTools-CareSupervisor or MobileTools-CareWorker for any new, updated, or closed Care Cases that occurred in the last 24 hours. This will begin automatically for those using MobileTools.

Database Object Changes

Enhanced Pledge Campaign Page
We have enhanced the Pledge Campaign page by adding the Pledge Status field to the Pledges sub-page.

Enhanced Mission Trip Page
We have enhanced the new, filtered Mission Trips page by adding several views to the Pledges sub-page.

Enhanced Fix-Same Email Not Family View
We have enhanced the Fix-Same Email Not Family view to be named Fix-Same Email No Relationship, have a clearer description for this data quality view, and to include Contacts with no Households.

Enhanced Fix Make Head View
We have enhanced the Fix Make Head view to omits deceased individuals and accounts for them as a household member when checking the Household for heads.

Enhanced Tool Tip Help Text   
We have added tool tips (help text) on several pages. Hover over field labels to see the help text. The following pages were updated: Locations, Rooms, Equipment, Room Layouts, Event Rooms, Event Services, Event Equipment, Event Participants, Ministries, and more!

*New* Seasonal and Alternate Mailing Addresses
We have added an alternate mailing address to the Household record as well as fields to allow this mailing address to be used temporarily and seasonally. The following reports have also been updated to accommodate the Seasonal/Alternate address:
