Basics

  • A Building is a record for the specific building on a Location.
  • Typically each Location has one Building.
  • A Building might have multiple Rooms.
  • Building records can be created/edited in Facilities > Buildings.

Fields

Building Name*: The friendly name for your Building.
Location*: The Location where the Building is located.
DescriptionA brief description of your Building.
Next Inspection DateOptional date for tracking inspections.
Building Coordinator: The staff or volunteer who oversees the use of the Building.
Date AcquiredOptional date for tracking acquisition.
Date ConstructedOptional date for tracking construction.
Date RetiredOptional date for tracking end of use.
