Check-In Suite - March 2022

 

 

This release includes a print service update, enhancements, and fixes to make sure your check-in runs smoothly for all your Events. Important! You'll need to update your print service on all print servers and kiosks that print labels, so check out Configure Print Service and Configure Printer to make sure you're ready to go when it's check-in time. And Station Setup will give you the lowdown on currently supported printers.

Check-In Kiosk

  • Enhanced searching to display Events by Start Time and then in alphabetical order.
  • Enhanced Check-In Kiosk to consider culture for the selected language. Note: If a language other than English is selected, times will be displayed in a 24-hour format.
  • Updated the message displayed when a search times out to read, "To see desired results, please refine your search term."
  • Updated the print service to work with the updated Zebra print drivers. Note: You'll need to update your print service on all print servers and kiosks that print labels.
  • Updated print service to support Windows 11. Note: You'll need to update your print service on all print servers and kiosks that print labels.
  • Updated Print Service to include newer Brother print drivers. Note: You'll need to update your print service on all print servers and kiosks that print labels.
  • Fixed an issue where searching was available even if the Kiosk was not fully configured. If a Kiosk is not fully configured, only the Settings button will be available to finish configuration.
  • Fixed an issue where Users were asked to log into Check-In Suite multiple times.
  • Fixed an issue where label preview was intermittently slow and/or returned an error.
  • Fixed an issue where nametags could not be reprinted in attended mode if the room was at capacity and closed.
Important! You'll need to update the print service on all print servers and kiosks that print labels. To update your print service, follow the steps in Configure Print Service. And while you're there, check out Configure Printer to make sure everything is ready to go.

Classroom Manager

  • Updated Household Call Number (i.e., the number you use to alert parents their children need assistance) displayed in Classroom Manager to match the last three digits of the Household ID, Contact ID, or Household Call Number rather than the first three digits. Pro tip: YOU get to decide whether your church uses the Household ID, Contact ID, or Household call number by updating your Configuration Settings.

Admin Console

  • Enhanced icons throughout Check-In Suite to use the latest icon library resources.
  • Fixed an issue where closing a room in the Admin Console did not consistently close rooms that were associated with multiple Groups.
  • Fixed an issue where not all Groups were visible when using the Add One Time Guest option.
  • Fixed an issue where the Station Device Kiosk screen did not display on all kiosks.
  • Fixed an issue where long Group names overlapped the label name when viewing label sets by Group in the Admin Console.
