If you have a non-Catholic instance of MinistryPlatform and would like to track the campaign progress of multiple congregations, you'll need to complete a few steps.

Allow Churches/Congregations to be Credited

1. Go to System Setup > Field Management.
2. Locate the Parish_Credited_ID field on the Pledges page.
3. Open the record, then click Edit Record.
4. Set Required to Yes.
5. Set Hidden to No.
6. Scroll down to Field Label. (Make sure you're in Field Label, not Field Name.) Enter a field label that will be clear to any staff members working on a campaign, such as "Congregation Credited" or "Church Credited".
7. Click Save.

If you expect to receive donations from people outside of your churches/congregations, you can also enable the Parish Credited Unknown field. This provides a place to track donations that are not associated with a specific church/congregation.

Allow Credit to be Marked as "Unknown"

1. Go to System Setup > Field Management.
2. Locate the Parish_Credited_Unknown field on the Pledges page.
3. Open the record, then click Edit Record.
4. Set Required to Yes.
5. Set Hidden to No.
6. Scroll down to Field Label. (Make sure you're in Field Label, not Field Name.) Enter a field label that will be clear to any staff members working on a campaign, such as "Congregation Credited Unknown" or "Church Credited Unknown".
7. Click Save.

Once these fields are visible, you can use them as part of your campaign setup and pledge setup for annual appeals.
